Description: This
figure was found in one of the many sanctuaries
from Etruscan Arretium (Arezzo), and was probably
a votive offering. The subject of ploughing reflects
a natural preoccupation of the inhabitants of Arretium,
which was an outpost of Chiusi in a fertile farming
region.
