Mid-Year Report 2001
May 11, 2001
Accomplishments
The chapter planned and successfully conducted a spring business meeting on April 19th, 2001. This meeting was followed by a lecture given by Abby Goodrum, Assistant Professor of Information Science and Technology at Drexel University, on Visual Information Retrieval. During the chapter’s business meeting the bylaws were amended (see below for specific changes) and approved in order to redress recent problems surrounding the election and terms of chapter officers.
Goals
The chapter’s members continue to express an interest in focusing attention on educational meetings. A business meeting, to take place in the late summer or early fall is in the planning stages. A workshop or lecture will follow the business meeting. The incoming Secretary/Treasurer will assume office in June. An election for the chapter chair will take place in October.

Article V.
