Visual Resources Association Upstate New York Chapter
Who Are We?
The Visual Resources Association is a non-profit organization established to further research and education in the field of visual resources and to promote a spirit of cooperation among the members of the profession. Membership is open to any person or institution interested in the purposes of the Association. Our membership includes slide and photograph curators, film and video librarians, media professionals, photo archivists, slide and microform producers, rights and reproduction officials, photographers, art historians, and others concerned with visual materials.
The Upstate New York Chapter of the Visual Resources Association supports the mission of the national organization and is interested in assisting its members through meetings, workshops, and professional support and contact. Membership is open to those who have already joined the national organization. Guests are welcome at our meetings.
We met many times within the last year, including Itahca, NY, Middlebury, VT and at the VRA National Conference in Kansas City, MO. Many of our members are active with VRA national, serving as Officers, on committees, presenting papers, chairing sessions and roundtables and serving as mentors.
